Our song "Waste" featured on compilation record. [2008-03-21]

Three years since STK's previous compilation featuring the sounds of independent Sweden, we now present 'Records Make Great Pets - Volume 2'. Twenty one tracks by twenty one of Sweden's finest music-makers.
Made up of new recordings, pre-releases, and songs from the last few months' crop of quality; if there's a better collection of tracks that represent the strength and depth of the current songwriting scene, we've yet to hear it.

Norma recording sessions. [2008-03-09]
Norma spent some time recording new material last week at studio Black Sheep, Stockholm.
If every thing goes well, the result be out before this summer. This record will include guests, both
singer and brassplayers. So far it´s the best piece Norma made!

Go see the Alice project exhibition. [2008-02-13]
Last spring we were a part of an artprojekt with two masterstudents
from Konstfacks academy of fine arts ceramics and glass.
We made sound illustrations for theire exhibition.
The result is now shown at Serieteket, Kulturhuset sergelstorg Stockholm until the
end of march.

Norma will play a show at Landet, Telefonplan Stockholm the 18 of februari.
Petter is travelling to Cuba for two weeks to prepair with inspiration for the show.

Record News
[2008-09-30]
Our record has now left our hands and is right now beeing
printed. We´ve taken fantastic photos for the record
with a great photografer called Mattias
Lindbäck. It happend a late night outside stockholm
together with a beautiful white horse. Enough said, you´ll
see soon.
The album "The Book Of Norma" is set to be released
in the 10th of November.
And it feels amazing. |

new line of merchendise avalible

Our musical sessions at konstfack were shown at the spring
exhibition and is also to bee seen in Lidköping,
opens 28/6.

Norma on Konstfacks
Spring Exhibition [2008-05-12]
During this spring we have worked on a project with two MA
students from Konstfack, ceramics and glass.
They call themselfs Alice, here is a short description of
the project:
"With short stories as our beginning, we create combinations
of graphic design, industrial products, sculpture and costume
that are linked by the twists and turns of a tale. In collaboration
with the band Norma we connect music and objects in playful
scenographies. With dreams as our guide, we shift focus from
the large to the small, keeping every element as sharp as
the whole."
Exhibion starts towmorrow 12 – 20 and is open Mon –
Fri 12 – 19, Sat, Sun 12 – 16 until the 25th of
may at Konstfack, Telefonplan.

We had an awsome weekend in the calm coutryside at Studio
Grytgöl with Magnus and his family. Everything totally
covered in snow. A couple of great songs recorded.. |
